Easter mornings are all about slow breakfasts with the family, bright sunshine, and an (extremely) indulgent spread, complete, of course, with easter eggs of all shapes and sizes—even chocolate ones. With Good Friday just around the corner and a less-than-forgiving summer already making itself obvious in April, this year, we’re adding a cocktail to the mix. Because if there’s ever a time to swap your usual coffee for something brighter, it’s now! Enter the Breakfast Martini by Atelier V: zesty, citrusy, and just playful enough to feel like a celebration in a glass—and a refreshing one at that.

What makes it perfect for the occasion is its balance. It’s fresh and uplifting, with gentle sweetness from orange marmalade, and a generous helping of gin that keeps things interesting (and smooth) without going overboard. It’s the kind of drink that feels fancy, fruity, and easy: exactly what you want to sip on while celebrating, complete with a bittersweet orange peel atop!

Note:
  • Double the ingredients when cooking for more people to ensure everyone gets a fluffy stack.
  • Swap out eggs for mashed bananas, yogurt, or flaxseed mix if you're vegetarian or allergic to eggs.
  • Use buttermilk instead of regular milk for extra soft and airy pancakes.
  • Let the batter rest for 5-10 minutes before cooking to get fluffier pancakes.
  • Cook on medium-low heat to avoid burning while ensuring even cooking.
  • Add vanilla extract or cinnamon for an extra touch of flavor.
  • Top with fresh fruits, nuts, or honey for a delicious and healthy twist.
